National Competition on PhD Presentation

The Higher Education Commission is pleased to host the second edition of the National Competition on PhD Presentation, giving local PhD students the opportunity to present a compelling oration on their thesis in 3 minutes.

Through this Competition, PhD students can consolidate their ideas and present their research thesis in a simple and concise to a lay audience, thereby enhancing their scientific, technical and transversal skills such as communication and presentation skills. This exercise also aims to promote the visibility of our PhD students with the local population, who will gain invaluable insight into the different areas of research being carried out locally.

So why not take part?

If you have already dedicated at least 2 years to your PhD, why not devote 3 minutes to explain it to a lay audience?
